🌸 Debbie McGee reveals life-changing non-surgical facelift results at 67

Debbie McGee has opened up about the beauty treatment she says has transformed her confidence, revealing the results of a non-surgical facelift after a year-long skincare journey.

The 67-year-old television star, who was married to late magician Paul Daniels, said she now feels so comfortable in her own skin that she no longer wears make-up on a daily basis. For Debbie, the biggest change has not simply been how she looks in photographs, but how she feels when she wakes up and faces the day.

Speaking about the results, Debbie said the treatment had given her a more natural confidence than she previously had. She explained that while she had make-up on for filming and bright lights, day to day she now prefers to go without foundation because her skin feels clearer and fresher.

Debbie admitted she had never been drawn to invasive cosmetic procedures before. She said she had been wary of toxins, fillers and Botox, but changed her mind after seeing the results achieved by friends including Christine Hamilton and Shirley Ballas.

For the past year, she has been undergoing NeoGen nitrogen plasma treatments with aesthetic practitioner Jenny O’Neill at the Aspire Clinic in Reading. The treatment is described as a non-surgical approach that uses nitrogen plasma energy to stimulate collagen and elastin, the proteins associated with firmer-looking skin.

Her original reason for trying the treatment was very specific. Debbie said she wanted help with age spots on her cheek, including a large brown mark she had long felt self-conscious about. She said she used to cover it with make-up because people would sometimes ask about it.

But the results went further than she expected. Debbie said the treatment also improved the look of smaller sun-related marks and freckles, leaving her delighted with what she described as clearer skin at her “grand old age.”

Debbie, who celebrates her 50th year in showbusiness this year, also has a new autobiography, A Magical Life, due out in October. She said the landmark year made her even more determined to feel her best and mark the moment with confidence.

The TV personality said one of the most surprising parts of the process was that the results continued to develop over time. According to Debbie, her skin kept improving in the weeks after each treatment, leaving it smoother and more even than she expected.

She also shared that she had noticed a difference around her top lip and jawline, areas she had become more aware of with age. Debbie stressed that she did not want an obvious “worked on” look, and said the compliments she receives now tend to focus on how well she looks rather than what she has had done.

The series of six treatments reportedly cost around £4,500 in total, with each session costing about £750. Debbie said that while the price sounded high, she felt it was worthwhile because she now spends less on foundation and feels happier with her natural appearance.

The update comes nearly a decade after the loss of her husband Paul Daniels, who passed away in 2016. Debbie has remained a familiar and much-loved figure in British entertainment, and her latest beauty update has given fans another glimpse of her bright, upbeat approach to life.

For Debbie, the transformation appears to be about far more than looking younger. Her message is one of confidence, choice and feeling comfortable in her own skin after decades in the public eye.
