🎤🏎️ Adele Makes Rare Silverstone Appearance In Lando Norris Tee As F1 Bond With Son Takes Spotlight

Adele brought serious star power to Silverstone as she made a rare public appearance at the British Grand Prix, stepping into the F1 spotlight with a relaxed but unmistakably fan-girl look.

The 38-year-old singer, who is usually known for keeping her private life tightly guarded, was seen at the famous race circuit wearing a Lando Norris and McLaren T-shirt, oversized sunglasses and a delicate necklace spelling out “Mummy”.

Her appearance quickly caught attention, not only because Adele is rarely seen at major public events, but because it came just after she opened up about the special Formula One obsession she now shares with her 13-year-old son Angelo.

Speaking during a rare interview, Adele explained that Angelo has become fascinated by karting, the same route many Formula One drivers take before reaching the top of the sport. Rather than simply watching from the sidelines, Adele said she has leaned fully into his passion.

She admitted she is now “obsessed” too, joking that she never expected to be bonding so intensely with her teenage son over drivers, races and the drama of Formula One.

The singer said she believes parents should take real interest in what excites their children, especially when that interest gives them a way to connect during the teenage years.

At Silverstone, Adele was seen visiting McLaren Racing headquarters, where she chatted with chief executive Zac Brown and drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Her choice of outfit made it clear whose team she was backing on the day.

The British Grand Prix paddock was packed with famous faces, with Brian May, Damson Idris, Sam Claflin, Hannah Waddingham, Amanda Holden, Mo Farah, Lewis Capaldi, Jeremy Clarkson, Lisa Hogan, Hugh Grant and others all adding to the celebrity buzz.

The star is known for her love of the sport and was spotted last year at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, where she posed with Mercedes' two drivers, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli

Pregnant Holly Ramsay also joined the festivities, showing off her bump in a fitted white skirt as she posed with former racing driver Susie Wolff.

Adele’s appearance came after she had previously been spotted at the US Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, where she met Mercedes drivers George Russell and Kimi Antonelli. Her latest outing proves her interest in F1 is becoming much more than a passing phase.

During a candid chat with Lando Norris, Adele was asked whether she still enjoys singing. The Grammy-winning star admitted she does not sing very often anymore, before lightening the mood by belting out a playful line from Britney Spears’ Baby One More Time.

She also reflected on how unusual her career still feels to her, saying she once imagined herself working behind the scenes in music rather than becoming the voice fans around the world know today.

Adele added that she has long struggled with the fame side of her life, but tries to remind herself how extraordinary and unexpected her journey has been.

For fans, the Silverstone appearance offered a rare glimpse of Adele in a relaxed setting: a global superstar enjoying a race weekend, cheering on a favourite driver and sharing a hobby that has brought her even closer to her son.

And in a paddock full of famous names, Adele still managed to steal the spotlight — not with a performance, but with a simple T-shirt, a proud mum necklace and a very relatable reason for loving Formula One.
