Ricky Gervaisâ long-term partner Jane Fallon has shared a candid health update following her recent cancer treatment, admitting she feels âvery nervousâ about what comes next. The bestselling author took to Instagram to update fans after undergoing a second surgery, revealing doctors have now achieved the âclear marginâ they were hoping for.
In a heartfelt post, she explained: âMy 2nd surgery went well. They got the clear margin they need on the original excision, which is great.â However, she also revealed that doctors discovered âa new little patch of precancerous cellsâ during the procedure, though she reassured followers that further surgery is not currently needed.

Fallon added, âThankfully, everyone agrees that more surgery would be overkill. A huge % of pre-cancer doesnât develop into cancer.â
The author said she has since met with an oncologist to discuss next steps, including whether to undergo preventative treatment. She explained that radiotherapy has been ruled out, saying: âWeâve agreed the risks of radiation outweigh the benefits in my case.â
Instead, Fallon is now weighing up whether to take hormone therapy drugs such as Tamoxifen, or opt for monitoring the condition instead.
