Carole and Michael Middleton turned Wimbledon into a charming family style moment as they arrived at SW19 looking effortlessly coordinated for an afternoon of tennis.
The parents of the Princess of Wales, who have been married for 46 years, appeared relaxed and polished as they joined the crowds at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. With London temperatures reportedly climbing to 31C, the couple leaned into light summer tones, giving royal watchers a subtle but sweet matching moment.
Carole and Michael Middleton enjoyed a sunny date at Wimbledon today, with the Princess of Wales’s parents donning matching looks for an afternoon of tennis in SW19

While Michael, 77, looked dapper in a cream blazer, Carole put on a stylish display in an off-white, floral-patterned dress
Michael, 77, looked dapper in a cream blazer, blue shirt and matching tie, while Carole wore an off-white floral ME+EM dress, said to be worth £275. The colour coordination did not stop there. Michael’s blue shirt and tie appeared to pick up the floral detail in Carole’s dress, while his tan belt and shoes echoed the band on her straw boater hat.
Carole completed her look with sunglasses, open-toe beige sandals and a raffia-style bag, creating the kind of polished Wimbledon outfit that has made the Middleton family regular style talking points at the Championships. The couple looked comfortable and happy as they enjoyed their day out, with their appearance quickly drawing attention from fashion-focused royal fans.
It comes after Carole was invited to the Royal Box at Wimbledon alongside her daughter, Pippa, yesterday
Their visit came just one day after Carole attended Wimbledon with her younger daughter, Pippa Matthews. On that occasion, Carole was seen in a white fit-and-flare maxi dress, a blue blazer and tan accessories, while Pippa embraced summer glamour in a dotted Reformation dress, sunglasses and white statement heels.
Carole and Pippa were invited to the Royal Box on Centre Court, where they were spotted chatting animatedly with Roger Federer. The eight-time Wimbledon champion is believed to have a warm friendship with the Middleton family and famously attended Pippa’s 2017 wedding to James Matthews.
The Princess of Wales has previously joked that Federer is her mother’s ‘heartthrob’, a comment that has become a favourite among royal fans whenever the tennis legend is seen close to the Middleton family. Footage from the Championships showed Carole and Pippa smiling as Federer greeted spectators from the famous Champions’ balcony.
Tuesday’s outing also placed Carole and Michael among a star-studded Wimbledon crowd. Guests at the tournament included Benedict Cumberbatch, Molly-Mae Hague, Amanda Holden, Wanda Sykes, Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson, Lady Sarah Chatto and Sir Clive Alderton.
The Middletons’ appearance comes during a busy and emotional period for the family. Carole and Michael recently travelled to Wales to support Catherine as she completed the National Three Peaks Challenge in aid of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The Princess was joined at the finish by Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and members of the Middleton family, creating one of the most personal public glimpses of the Wales family in recent months.
For royal watchers, Carole and Michael’s coordinated Wimbledon look was more than just a fashion moment. It was a reminder of the Middleton family’s long-standing love of tennis, their easy presence at SW19, and the quiet, close-knit support system behind the future Queen.
