Josie Gibson has given fans a glimpse into her latest wellness routine, revealing she is turning to an “alternative healing” method while dealing with a mystery health condition.
The TV favourite, 41, shared the update with her followers on Instagram on Thursday, posting a video from inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber.
In the clip, Josie first showed fans the inside of the pressurised chamber before turning the camera on herself. Wearing an oxygen mask, she flashed a peace sign and smiled for the camera.
Adding a playful caption, she wrote: “Some women treat themselves to designer handbags, and some women treat themselves to hyperbaric oxygen chambers.”
She then added the hashtag: #alternativehealing.
While Josie did not explain exactly what health issue she is trying to manage, the post immediately sparked curiosity among fans.

What is hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing pure oxygen inside a pressurised chamber. The treatment is designed to increase oxygen levels in the blood and can help support tissue repair and healing.
It is most commonly used in medical settings for conditions such as wound healing, carbon monoxide poisoning, and decompression sickness, though some people also turn to it as part of broader wellness and recovery routines.
Sessions usually last between 60 and 90 minutes.
Josie, however, has not shared any further details about why she chose the treatment — leaving fans wondering what exactly may be going on behind the scenes.
Another huge week for Josie
The health update comes during what is already shaping up to be a major week for the presenter.
Reports have recently suggested Josie is in talks to join Strictly Come Dancing 2026, with speculation growing that BBC bosses are keen to finally get her onto the ballroom floor.
According to reports, the broadcaster has had its eye on Josie for some time and believes her warm, down-to-earth personality would make her a huge hit with viewers.
While nothing has been officially confirmed, the rumours have already set tongues wagging.

And ITV has a brand-new show lined up for her
As if that was not enough, ITV has also unveiled a brand-new series fronted by Josie.
How To Clean Up For Cash, launching later this month, will see her helping families tackle clutter in their homes while uncovering hidden value in the belongings they have forgotten about.
But there is a twist: the families will not initially know the real purpose of the show.
Joined by antiques expert Dan Hatfield and decluttering specialist Jacqueline McLeod, Josie will enter homes under a different premise, before revealing the truth and asking families to decide whether to keep their possessions or cash in.
Speaking about the programme, Josie said it is full of heart and is not just about tidying up, but about bringing people together.
Fans are left wondering what’s next
So while Josie may have left the reason for her oxygen chamber session a mystery, one thing is clear: she has a lot going on.
Between her latest health treatment, fresh Strictly speculation, and a brand-new ITV project, the beloved presenter is showing no signs of slowing down.
And if her Instagram update is anything to go by, she is facing it all with her usual good humour — peace sign, smile, oxygen mask and all.
