Celebrity Gogglebox is making its return to television with a brand new line-up of familiar faces, including two Strictly stars.

The Channel 4 spin-off first aired in 2019 and has since established itself as one of the broadcaster’s most beloved programmes.

The forthcoming eighth series will welcome back several firm favourites, such as Vernon Kay and Paddy McGuinness, Nick Grimshaw and niece Liv, and Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vaughan.

Yet there will also be a fresh batch of celebrity contributors offering their views on the week’s finest, worst, and most peculiar television content, all delivered from the cosiness of their living rooms.

Two women are sitting on a blue couch in a cozy living room setting, both dressed in casual loungewear. One woman is wearing glasses and a robe, while the other is holding a remote and appears to be engaged in an animated conversation. The couch is adorned with pink cushions, and there is a small table nearby with a pink container and a lamp in the background.

Olivia is one of the new faces

Among the new notable personalities joining the Gogglebox roster this series are TV personality Olivia Attwood alongside her mum Jennifer, and Harry and Matt, better known as Nitro and Legend from Gladiators, reports the Daily Star.

Completing the cast are Strictly star George Clark, content creator Max Balegde, comedian and actor Julian Clary and television presenter Nigel Havers.

Discussing her Celebrity Gogglebox appearance, Olivia Attwood remarked it “was chaotic but in the best possible way”. She elaborated: “It’s not often that we agree on things which I think the viewers may find entertaining. My family are huge fans of the show, so it’s a real honour to be a part of such an iconic British programme.”

Two elderly gentlemen are seated on a cushioned sofa, engaged in a conversation while one of them holds a remote control. Behind them, a blue shelf filled with books and decorative items is visible, and a table nearby holds various bowls of food.

Corrie icon Nigel is making an appearance too

Meanwhile, Matt, aka Legend, commented: “Everyone knows how good I am at being on TV, but turns out I’m even better at watching it. Wow. Absolutely incredible sofa performance. Anyway, I had a great time on the show, and I need to say a massive thank you to Gogglebox for literally paying me to watch TV. What a time to be alive.”

Strictly 2025 finalist George Clarke added: “I loved it, mainly because it gave me a full excuse to take the mick out of Max on national TV.

“He reacts to everything, so you’re never bored. It’s so easy to get into as well, you just sit there, say exactly what you’re thinking, and before you know it, we’ve gone completely off track!”

Two individuals are seated on a vibrant red couch, engaging in a relaxed conversation. They are surrounded by a table adorned with various food items, beverages, and other objects. The setting suggests a casual and comfortable atmosphere, likely within a living room environment.
