Christine McGuinness’ dates from DJ to Olympian as she rates herself ‘five star lesbian’

Since her split from husband Paddy, Christine McGuinness has been exploring her sexuality and has spoken candidly about her ‘awakening’. The reality star, who appeared on Real Housewives of Cheshire and Celebs Go Dating, said in a recent podcast she rated herself a “five-star lesbian”, and would love to “have a wife” one day as a life partner.
She’s been linked romantically to different women, but since finalising her divorce from former Top Gear host Paddy, in 2024, has continued to live in their Cheshire mansion. The former couple share three children, but when she’s not in mum mode, Christine, 38, loves to let her hair down. Here we look at her adventurous love life.

Christine and DJ Roxxxan
This weekend, Christine McGuinness was spotted sharing a kiss with rapper and DJ Roxxxan, real name Roxanne Conway, as she dropped her off in London. The pair were spotted in Christine’s Land Rover Defender, with Roxxxan leaning into the driver’s seat for a kiss, before getting out and parting ways.
It’s not the first time they’ve been seen getting close. In 2024, they jetted out to Ibiza together, while over recent months, Christine has been leaving flirty comments on the DJ’s Instagram posts.

Nicola Adams rumours
It comes after Christine was reported to have been linked to Olympic boxer Nicola Adams, 43. The two were seen at the DIVA Awards in London last month, where they were said to have been “inseparable”. Onlookers said they “looked like a couple” throughout the event.
Speculation was only intensified this week when Nicola appeared to hint at a romance on social media. The former pro boxer shared a video of herself with the caption: “Them: ‘You’re not that crazy about that woman’.” She added: “Who me [laughing emoji] #wlw”
Another video was captioned: “What do you want to call us then??” One fan commented underneath: “You’d better ask @mrscmcguinness that question!”
Hotel hook up admission
Speaking to Amy Spalding and Gareth Valentino on a recent episode of It Started With A Kiss, Christine spoke candidly about her love life. Having initially been against the idea of a one-night-stand, butadmitted she had met a woman in a hotel for sex.
She revealed: “This one date, well, it wasn’t a date, it was when I did the whole hotel thing and not the whole date thing. Because I didn’t want to ever just meet someone and it just be sex, but then kind of did find myself in a place in life where I was like, ‘Do you know what? I actually do just want to do that.’”
She added: “So I got to this hotel and I’m thinking, ‘This is just sex, it’s fine.’ She was very, very beautiful, like that perfect, pretty, handsome, like masc stud type woman, really gorgeous, dark skin, like she had everything.”

Christine added: “We’re just chatting away and she said that she was a Gold Star Lesbian. So I’m like, love that, love a Gold Star Lesbian.” But she had to pause to tell her partner that she would only use sex toys fresh out of the packaging.
She recalled: “I’m so serious. I went: ‘Stop, no because you might be a gold-star lesbian, but I’m a five-star lesbian.”‘ A gold-star lesbian is a slang term for a lesbian who has never had sexual or romantic experiences with men.
Christine continued: “‘So I got to this hotel and I’m thinking this is just sex, it’s fine. And she was a very, very beautiful, like that perfect, pretty, handsome, like masc[uline] stud type woman, really gorgeous, dark skin, like she had the whole, everything…”
Elsewhere, she admitted that she was “quite surprised” as she was the “giver”, saying: “I always expect it to be the other way around, but it just never is. It’ll always be me doing the most and they’re a pillow princess.”
Shibari experience
Elsewhere on the podcast, she admitted she had tried Shibari – a Japanese form of bondage. She explained: “I like to try new experiences. So one of the things was Shibari.
“It’s so good! It wasn’t really about like to be sexual, it was more about the feeling of letting go, allowing yourself to be vulnerable.
“So this was part of me getting to know myself after my divorce and then dating women and realising that with women that I quite liked wanting to be more dominant and wanting to be in control.”
Private members club
Speaking on her podcast Situationships last year, Christine spoke of an unusual first date she went on. She revealed: “We went to a private members club because I was trying to keep it private because it takes time to know someone and I didn’t want to be seen out and linked with another tree or a lamppost and just thrown into a situationship.
“So we went on the date and it was absolutely gorgeous, it just went so well, we laughed all night and it went so well. We kissed and it was just amazing and then I needed to go to the loo. She had been to this place before and I hadn’t so she was like come and I’ll show you where they are.
“So I have gone to the loo, come back out and there is like this glass walkway going back to the table where we were. Through the glass walkway there is a hotel and you can see this hotel room and it is literally like two meters away from where we were stood. I’ve looked around there was a couple there having a full on sex show like right next to us.
“They’re having the time of their life, they are clearly not on a first date and have been there for a while but it was like a whole performance but I couldn’t not look and she went ‘omg’ and carried on walking.
“I was stood there like ‘I don’t know if this should be turning me on or if I should be doing this’. It felt quite naughty because it felt like I shouldn’t be watching.”
