Jimmy Bullard is reportedly weighing up legal action against ITV after the chaotic finale of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! left him feeling “scapegoated” in the wake of his bitter clash with Adam Thomas.
The former footballer came face-to-face with Adam for the first time in six months during the All Stars final — but the long-awaited reunion quickly spiralled into confrontation. Jimmy accused Adam of being “abusive, aggressive and intimidating,” reigniting tensions that had clearly never settled.
According to insiders, Jimmy was determined for viewers to see what he claims was the “real, unedited version” of the argument. A source revealed that Adam had allegedly sworn multiple times during the clash, leaving those present shocked — and Jimmy frustrated that much of it never made it to air. He believed the final was his last opportunity to expose what he saw as the full truth behind the incident.
But things took a turn when Jimmy challenged hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly live on air, asking why key footage had been omitted. His frustration only deepened when he felt Ant dismissed his concerns, insisting the unaired language was simply “unbroadcastable” and that he had not perceived the situation as intimidating.
Behind the scenes, Jimmy is said to be “hugely disappointed” with how events were handled — particularly the apparent lack of support from the presenters. Sources claim he feels unfairly singled out and portrayed as the villain, despite believing he was standing up for what was right.
Now, he is reportedly consulting lawyers and reviewing his contract with ITV to explore whether he has grounds to sue.
An ITV spokesperson responded firmly, stating the show presented “an accurate and fair representation of events.”
Meanwhile, Gemma Collins added fuel to the fire by publicly backing Adam — despite not witnessing the original argument. Her comments have reportedly disappointed Jimmy further, with sources suggesting he views her stance as performative.
During the tense live moment, Jimmy admitted, “Listen, Adam and all of you can be upset with me and I absolutely threw him under the bus, I get it and I’ll wear that. But what I don’t stand on is someone being abusive, aggressive and intimidating.”
Adam, for his part, struck a more conciliatory tone. He acknowledged, “I take full responsibility for my actions… emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I have nothing but love for Jimmy… I have apologised to him on numerous occasions.”
But despite the apology, the fallout appears far from over — and with legal action now on the table, what began as a reality TV row could soon escalate into a full-blown courtroom battle.
