đŸ€  David Beckham goes full cowboy in Dallas as World Cup semi-final fever builds

David Beckham has swapped Miami football fever for full Texan swagger after arriving in Dallas ahead of the first World Cup semi-final.

The former England captain, 51, wasted little time getting into the local spirit as he shared a string of Instagram snaps from Texas, complete with a classic Stetson hat, a white T-shirt and a plate piled high with barbecue favourites.

After cheering England through a dramatic quarter-final in Miami, Beckham headed to Dallas as attention shifted towards Tuesday’s huge semi-final between Spain and France. And rather than making a quiet arrival, he leaned straight into the cowboy mood.

David paid a visit to Terry Black’s BBQ, where he appeared to enjoy a proper Texan welcome. The football icon tucked into brisket and sausages during the relaxed night out, giving fans a very different glimpse of his World Cup trip away from the stadium lights.

Posting the snaps to Instagram, Beckham wrote: “Nice warm welcome to Dallas. How do I look @colehauser22 ?? @stetsonusa thank you”. The playful caption quickly caught attention, especially after American actor Cole Hauser replied with a joking compliment, telling him he looked like a “Texas gangster”.

The exchange added a fun showbiz twist to Beckham’s Dallas stop, as fans praised the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star for throwing himself into the city’s atmosphere before another major night of football.

Beckham’s cowboy moment comes after a busy and headline-making few days for the family in the United States. On Saturday, he was in Miami with Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper as England beat Norway 2-1 to book their place in the World Cup semi-finals.

The night was an emotional one for David, who leapt from his seat when Jude Bellingham scored in first-half stoppage time. His excitement, however, was soon matched by another viral Beckham family moment: Victoria remaining perfectly composed while the rest of the family celebrated around her.

Pictures of David cheering wildly while Victoria sat with her trademark calm expression quickly became a meme, with fans calling it classic Posh Spice energy. David later stepped in with a cheeky defence of his wife, joking that she was “celebrating on the inside” and that her reactions were simply slower than his.

Victoria later appeared to get into the mood, clapping along as England completed the win. The fashion designer has previously admitted she was not always a football fan, especially during David’s playing days, but has said Miami now feels different because she feels more connected to the families and community around Inter Miami.

That Miami connection has become a major part of the Beckhams’ current chapter. David is co-owner and president of Inter Miami, while Victoria has also been celebrating a business milestone in the city with the launch of her first US pop-up store.

Now, with Beckham moving from Miami celebrations to Dallas cowboy mode, fans are watching every step of his World Cup adventure. Whether he is cheering England, defending Victoria’s viral reaction or posing in a Stetson over barbecue, David continues to turn tournament week into a mix of football pride, family fun and celebrity spectacle.

And with the semi-finals now taking centre stage, Beckham’s Texan arrival has only added more star power to a World Cup already packed with drama, glamour and unforgettable off-pitch moments.
