đŸ”„ “I’ve Never Felt So Humiliated” — Brooklyn Beckham Accuses Mother Victoria Beckham of Hijacking His First Dance With Nicola Peltz on Their Wedding Day

Brooklyn Beckham has accused his mother, Victoria Beckham, of “hijacking” the first dance at his wedding to Nicola Peltz, claiming the moment turned deeply uncomfortable and humiliating in front of hundreds of guests.

In an extraordinary Instagram statement, the 26-year-old — eldest son of Victoria and football legend David Beckham — reopened the long-running Beckham family feud with a string of bombshell allegations about his April 2022 nuptials.

Brooklyn said the newlyweds had carefully planned a romantic first dance, only for his mother to step in at the last moment and insist he dance with her instead. He claimed that, in front of 500 guests, singer Marc Anthony called him to the stage — where he expected to join his wife — but instead found his mother waiting.

According to Brooklyn, what followed left him mortified. He said his mum danced “very inappropriately” on him, adding that he had never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in his life. He explained that the couple later chose to renew their vows because they wanted new memories that brought joy and happiness — not anxiety and embarrassment.

The explosive post went far beyond the first-dance drama. Brooklyn claimed his parents had been “trying endlessly” to undermine his relationship with Nicola since before their wedding. He alleged that his mother pulled out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress at the eleventh hour, despite the bride being excited to wear her future mother-in-law’s creation, forcing her to scramble for an alternative.

He also claimed that, weeks before the big day, his parents pressured and even attempted to bribe him into signing away rights to his name — a move he said would have affected not just him, but Nicola and their future children. When he refused, he alleged their relationship changed permanently.

Brooklyn further claimed that on the night before the wedding, members of his family told him Nicola was “not blood” and “not family,” and that his mother called him “evil” during a row over seating arrangements that included both grandmothers at the top table.

Nicola has previously spoken about the dress fallout, revealing in a 2022 interview that plans for a Victoria-designed gown collapsed suddenly. She ultimately walked down the aisle in a couture dress by Valentino, insisting the change was never her intention.

Despite the drama, several guests wore Victoria Beckham designs on the day, including actress Eva Longoria, adding further fuel to the long-running tensions.

Brooklyn ended his statement by insisting the narrative that Nicola “controls” him is backwards, claiming he had been controlled by his parents for most of his life. He made it clear his wife is now his top priority, saying they have each other’s backs “100 per cent.”
