Gogglebox favourite Helena Worthington has quietly entered a brand-new chapter — welcoming her second child and swapping life on screen for the reality of newborn cuddles, sleepless nights and a home now busier than ever.
The 31-year-old artist shared the joyful news on Instagram on Thursday, revealing she has given birth to a baby daughter and offering fans a rare, intimate glimpse of her life away from the Channel 4 cameras.

A soft announcement — and a big change
Posting a series of tender photographs, Helena introduced her newborn alongside her six-year-old son Erwin, capturing the gentle chaos of life as a newly expanded family.
Alongside the images, she wrote:
“Swapping screen time for snuggles (and plenty of nappy changes!) as we welcome our little one to the world.”
In a tone that felt unmistakably Helena — warm, grounded and honest — she added that she’ll be taking a step back from social media while the family finds its rhythm.
“I’ll be quieter on here for a bit while we find our feet,” she explained.
“The new boss is here — and she’s already calling all the shots.”

Life as a family of four
Helena shares her children with partner Dan, and fans were quick to flood the post with congratulations, praising her for keeping the announcement simple and deeply personal.
She also shared sweet snaps of Erwin bonding with his new sibling, joking that the baby has already taken control of the household — a familiar reality for any family welcoming a newborn.
A pregnancy shared quietly, honestly
Helena first revealed she was expecting back in December, opting for a refreshingly low-key announcement. She posted a candid photo of herself gardening with Erwin, her growing bump visible beneath a layered, practical outfit that perfectly reflected her down-to-earth style.
At the time, she wrote with trademark humour:
“Pregnant. Tired. Raging indigestion. Still crouching down to explain why we don’t dig up all the bulbs.”
Later, she reflected on revisiting RHS Bridgwater while heavily pregnant — a place filled with memories from Erwin’s baby years.
“These in-between moments feel really precious lately — messy, slow and very real,” she wrote.
“I’m excited, but it feels strange knowing Erwin is about to seem so big.”

Beyond Gogglebox
Away from television, Helena works as an artist at Islington Mill studios, focusing on sculpture and painting. She has previously spoken about her creative roots with characteristic self-deprecation, once joking that her love of art began when she used to draw on walls and in her mum’s cookbooks.
Despite being a familiar face on one of Britain’s most-watched shows, Helena has also revealed she doesn’t actually own a television.
Speaking at the TRIC Awards in 2023, she admitted:
“I don’t really watch telly at home — I don’t have a TV. Gogglebox is how I catch up on what’s going on.”
She added with a laugh:
“I go to my mum’s and use her electric. You sit down, eat food and watch TV — it’s a pretty good deal.”
