Prince Harry’s latest return to Britain has stirred fresh speculation over whether he can repair at least part of his fractured relationship with the Royal Family. But while hopes remain that the Duke of Sussex could spend time with King Charles during his visit, the outlook for any reunion with Prince William appears far colder.
Harry is in the UK for a series of engagements linked to the Invictus Games, including appearances in London and Birmingham as the countdown begins to the 2027 event. Yet the trip has once again been overshadowed by questions about security, accommodation and whether Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would join him on British soil.

According to royal commentators cited in the report, William and Princess Kate are not expected to meet Harry during this visit. William has long been regarded as one of the most private members of the Royal Family, and experts believe Harry’s decision to reveal family conversations and alleged disputes has left scars that have not healed. The Prince of Wales is also said to be deeply protective of Catherine, who was drawn into several of the Sussexes’ public claims.
Meghan’s 2021 Oprah interview, in which she discussed an emotional dispute involving bridesmaid dresses before the Sussex wedding, remains one of the moments often cited in the breakdown between the two households. Harry later added further detail in his memoir, describing private tensions involving his brother and sister-in-law.
