I’M A CELEBRITY’S latest Rancid Run trial will be brought to an unexpected halt for the first time in the show’s history amid Adam Thomas’ explosive clash with Jimmy Bullard.
The ITV series will become embroiled in chaos in scenes to be aired tonight – with anchors Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly even forced to step in.
We previously told how Emmerdale alum Adam screamed “are you taking the p**s?” at the former footballer, 47, as they locked horns.
The slanging match has torn their friendship apart forever with The Sun understanding they are still not on speaking terms almost eight months after filming.
It has also seen Jimmy threaten to refuse to attend the show’s final on Friday as a result of how he feels about Adam, 37.
And the intensity of the spat calls a swift halt to the final challenge – after Jimmy selected Adam to be his partner.
In teaser details released ahead of tonight’s episode, viewers will see the critter-filled task start with the sound of the vuvuzela.
While the other celebrities spring into action, Jimmy doesn’t move.
Ant and Dec then try to encourage him, but Jimmy stays frozen.
“Boys, I don’t think I’ve got it in me,” he says.
After Adam successfully moves the first cog through the abacus, the trial is brought to an unexpected stop when Jimmy says “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here” sparking an argument between Jimmy and Adam.
“So, what are we doing now?” Ashley asks as Ant and Dec inform the celebrities that the trial is suspended and they must exit the area.
Jimmy and Adam continue their heated discussion, while the rest of the campmates watch on.
Reacting to something in fury, Adam can be heard screaming: “Are you f***ing taking the p***?”

Having left where he was positioned in the trial, a teaser clip details a furious Adam storming over to Jimmy as he repeats: “Are you taking the p***.”
Ashley Roberts and Scarlett Moffatt can be seen also taking part in the trial as Pussycat Doll Ashley appears dumbfounded at Adam’s outburst.
Approaching Jimmy, he furiously says: “I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants!”
Jimmy then tells him to calm down as Adam appears to walk off.
He adds: “That’s pathetic.”
Adam can then be seen looking distressed as he attempts to talk to the camera following the trial.
Their disagreement then leads the other campmates to make an important decision, which affects one person’s fate in camp.
Though it is clear the pair’s spat will have long-lasting implications.
Meanwhile, Adam was left in tears during last night’s episode following his clash with another campmate, boxer David Haye.
Viewers had previously been left feeling furious over the boxer’s treatment of Adam, with some calling it “bullying“ during the series.
The pair have repeatedly clashed in camp, with the actor begging the sports star to “have a day off”.
Yet with the series pre-recorded, Adam has told fans the pair have patched things up.
He has even begged his loyal followers to “stop sending” David hate as a result of the on-screen action.
