Britainâs Got Talent was back on Saturday evening for the second round of live semi-finals. But just moments in, after the first act took to the stage, the audience erupted into boos as the judgesâ comments werenât as expected.
Japanese dance group World Wings were first up with an electrifying performance. They had landed themselves a prestigious Golden Buzzer from Amanda Holden in the previous round â sending them straight through to the semi finals. However, after they performed, it seemed as though the judge may have regretted her decision. When it was time to comment, she thanked them for coming all the way back to Britain as she said: âWe pressed the Golden Buzzer because, well, I mean I loved you but the audience also went nuts for you.â

Seeming somewhat underwhelmed, she continued: âIâm going to be honest, as much as you had good choreography and great energy tonight, I felt like that was not as good as the first time.â
The crowd erupted into loud boos as she tried to continue speaking, but was drowned out. She continued: âI still wish you well, but it just didnât feel as dynamic as your first audition.â
KSI then brought the cheers back from the crowd as he said that the act was âbrilliantâ and âtop tierâ, but then Alesha Dixon angered the audience once more.
She said that the actâs passion was âpouring out of themâ and their effort was â10/10â but she agreed with Amanda.
âFor me, and this is going to sound a bit weird, but it seemed a bit too happy,â she said. âAnd I think thatâs because of your song choices. I would have liked something a bit more down and dirty.â
She replied that the performance was just a bit too âcandyflossâ for her. Just moments later, Simon also agreed that the act was ânot as good as the first timeâ.
Despite the judgesâ comments, World Wings continued to keep up the high energy as they screamed that it was âamazingâ as hosts And and Dec asked them how they were feeling.
