Princess Andre has revealed she finally feels a sense of relief after years of being stuck between her famous parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre, following their long-running feud.
The 18-year-old reality star, who is returning to ITV2 with the second season of her show The Princess Diaries, told the Daily Mail that life already feels lighter now that her parents have agreed to leave the past behind and move forward with what she described as “positivity and respect.”

Katie and Peter split back in 2007 after a turbulent four-year marriage, beginning more than a decade of tension that often played out publicly. But now, nearly two decades later, the pair have reportedly reached a truce — something their daughter says has made a huge difference to her and brother Junior.
Princess said the new peace between them has taken a weight off her shoulders. She explained that the good thing now is that her mum and dad have both agreed to be fine with each other, adding that she hopes in a future third season of her show they might even appear together.

She admitted she feels genuinely relieved they have both agreed to move forward. For Princess, the biggest comfort is knowing that she and Junior will hopefully no longer be caught in the middle. She added that life should now be easier for everyone involved.
The teen also opened up about how exhausting it has been dealing with public scrutiny surrounding her parents’ past conflict. She said all she really wants now is for the whole family to be happy and for the narrative around them to stop being twisted by rumours or speculation. She added that it would be nice if people stopped questioning her and Junior about their parents’ issues — although she admitted that doesn’t seem to be stopping any time soon.
Their bitter split has long been a talking point for fans of the family, particularly after the collapse of their marriage sparked years of tension between the former couple.
Last August, Peter revealed for the first time that Junior and Princess had come into his sole care in 2018, as he addressed what he described as “lies” and “baseless claims” made by his ex-wife.

His statement followed comments by Katie, who claimed she had been “banned” from filming The Princess Diaries. Speaking on her podcast at the time, she admitted she was upset about being excluded from the show.
The dispute quickly spilled into the public eye, prompting Peter and his wife Emily to step back from appearing in the new season of the series — despite having featured in the first season.
Now, six months later, the former couple appear to have drawn a line under the drama. Sources say they have reached a truce centred around putting family and stability first.
Princess hinted that while neither parent will physically appear in the upcoming series, they remain very much part of her story. She said that although they won’t be seen on screen, they are still involved in her life and everything is calm now.
The new season will instead focus more on Princess stepping into adulthood. She explained that after turning 18, the show was always meant to document her journey into independence, and viewers will see her pushing herself out of her comfort zone and trying things she wouldn’t normally do.
According to the teenager, this series is about her simply living life as an 18-year-old girl and figuring things out for herself.
Fans will also see a very special new addition to the show — her eldest brother Harvey.
For the first time, Harvey, 23, will appear on The Princess Diaries. Princess hopes that including him in the show will help raise awareness of the disabilities he lives with.
Harvey has septo-optic dysplasia, a rare condition that has left him partially blind and with growth hormone deficiency. He also lives with Prader–Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder associated with excessive appetite and an increased risk of obesity and diabetes. In addition, he has been diagnosed with ADHD and autism.
Princess said viewers will get to see their brother-and-sister relationship on screen.
Junior, who joined his sister during the interview, added that Harvey holds a very special place in their lives. He described him as their big brother, but joked that in some ways he can feel like their little brother too.
Junior said Harvey is a huge part of their family and that both he and Princess grew up with him. He explained that they share a strong bond and truly understand him — including how to communicate with him and support him through his disabilities and autism.
The show will also introduce some familiar faces from Princess’s life.
Her mother’s close friend Kerry Katona will appear in the new series, along with Kerry’s daughter Heidi, who is the same age as Princess.
Princess said her friendship with Heidi is incredibly natural because they have known each other since they were babies. She explained that they have grown up around each other and share many similar life experiences, which has brought them closer.
However, Kerry’s appearance could potentially raise eyebrows given reports that her friendship with Katie is currently strained.
The alleged tension reportedly stems from an incident involving their partners during Katie’s honeymoon in Dubai. It was claimed that Katie’s new husband Lee Andrews — whom she married just 11 days after meeting — punched Kerry’s boyfriend Paolo Margaglione during the trip.
Despite the rumours, Princess spoke warmly about Kerry, describing her as a lovely person and someone who has been part of her life since she was a baby.
While her mother’s love life has often been headline-grabbing, Princess says she is taking a very different approach to relationships.
Katie famously married her fourth husband Lee Andrews earlier this year following a whirlwind one-week romance — but Princess insists she is in no rush to date.
She explained that although it’s possible to date privately, she prefers to keep that part of her life to herself after growing up in the public eye.
Princess admitted she receives plenty of messages from people sliding into her DMs but says she is simply taking her time and focusing on living her life.
The new series will even show a moment where Junior’s girlfriend Jasmine tries to set her up on a dating app — something Princess confessed she found far too stressful.
For now, she says she is happy concentrating on herself and letting life unfold naturally.
