Since rising to fame on The X Factor, Rylan Clark has worked his way to becoming a hugely successful presenter. The 37-year-old has fronted a number of popular TV programmes, including Big Brotherâs Bit on the Side and Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two. He often steps in for presenters on This Morning and currently hosts his own BBC Radio 2 show along with serving as a co-commentator of the Eurovision Song Contest. Known for his wit and authentic personality, itâs no surprise that people often wonder what the TV star is like to work with.
A number of people opened up about their experience working with Rylan, all giving an insight into what he is really like when the cameras arenât rolling. And itâs clear what you see is what you get with the Dating Naked presenter, as those who have either worked with him or know people that have couldnât speak higher of him.
One wrote: âWorked with Rylan on numerous projects and heâs bloody lovely. Up there with Tom Davis, Romesh and Jennifer Saunders as the nicest people Iâve worked with.â
Another added: âAlthough it might not mean much, my old neighbour worked on that Big Brother after show, and Rylan hosted it. She said he was genuinely one of the loveliest and most down to earth celebrities that sheâd met. Knew all the staff members names, and was always approachable and professional.â
A third shared: âIâve always liked him after hearing that, as she said that unfortunately, but perhaps not surprisingly, a lot of TV personalities/presenters are not nice people off camera.â

Another echoed: âI work in telly and you do hear things about what people are like and Rylan is someone you genuinely never hear a bad word about.â

One Reddit user who claimed to have appeared on This Morning more than once confirmed that Rylan is âlovelyâ both on and off camera.
Rylan is currently one of the top contenders in line to present Strictly Come Dancing, following the exits of Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

One source told the Daily Mail: âHe has so many loyal fans. If he gets the job they will most certainly tune in to Strictly. He will be a ratings winner and the BBC knows it.â
Another TV insider added: âFor Rylan it is his dream job. He loved It Takes Two and the viewers loved him. It would be a no-brainer.â
