Coronation Street aired a dramatic episode on Monday as Theo Silverton went to new sinister measures.

In scenes this week, the ITV soap takes viewers back to the day of the whodunnit, where each potential victim’s final hours before the tragic events will be exposed.

Coronation Street has already revealed the names of the five potential murder victims – Megan Walsh, Theo, Maggie Driscoll, Jodie Ramsey and Carl Webster.

On Monday’s episode, which is available to watch on ITV X now, it went back to Carla Connor and Lisa Swain’s wedding, with each four episodes commencing at the point when the two brides reach Underworld for the celebration. Each return to the cobbles follows the potential last day in the life of one of the prospective murder victims.

Concluding the week, Friday’s episode will bring all the drama together, ending with fireworks lighting up the night sky to celebrate Swarla’s marriage, alongside Betsy’s shocking discovery of a corpse belonging to one of Weatherfield’s residents.

On Monday, it was Theo’s episode, where the sinister builder broke into the shop flat he shared with Todd Grimshaw. After hearing a loud smash, Todd couldn’t see anything, but it was soon revealed that Theo had broke through the window and was waiting for him, holding onto his packed luggage for Thailand.

As things started to get violent, luckily, George Shuttleworth arrived in the nick of time and the duo succeeded in overpowering Theo and escaping from the flat.

Shortly afterwards, Todd and George informed DC Kit Green about Theo, but he was nowhere to be found at the flat. Frantic to escape, Todd climbed into a taxi bound for the airport, only to discover he had left his phone behind, compelling him to halt and return for it.

However, as he headed back along the street, he encountered Theo face-to-face, who was gripping the phone. Meanwhile, Betsy and Lauren Bolton jumped into Todd’s waiting cab, wanting to go into town as it drove off.

In spoilers for this week, Friday will see all the storylines converge as Todd engages in a risky game of cat-and-mouse to outwit a revengeful Theo, where poor old Summer Spellman finds herself trapped in the crossfire with terrifying consequences.

The spoiler adds that the “community is left reeling”, teasing: “With a trail of blood leaving several lives hanging in the balance and a discovery made by Betsy that will change the Street forever – who didn’t make it out alive?”
