Cat Deeley has been presenting This Morning since she and Ben Shephard took over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in 2024.
She’s a familiar face in houses across the UK on shows like Stars in Their Eyes, So You Think You Can Dance and America’s Next Top Model – but before she launched her life in TV, she pursued a modelling career.

She abbreviated her name to Cat so she would be “more memorable” to booking agents, but in 1997, after sending an audition tape to MTV, she left modelling for good and turned her sights to the world of the small screen.
Cat confessed: “In my 20s, I would see people look at me and I would know the word ‘bimbo’ was going round in their heads.

“It’s up to me to challenge that perception by showing exactly who I am and never being fake. People can spot a fake a mile off. You have to be yourself.”

“No-one even noticed my nose when I was on screen in the UK, and the minute I came to the US it was like, ‘She should totally put her nose straight’.
