Ex-Strictly Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova is reportedly in talks to join this year’s series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! following her shock departure from the BBC show. The professional dancer, 36, is said to be high on ITV bosses’ wish list after becoming one of the biggest names caught up in Strictly’s recent cast shake-up.
According to The Sun, Nadiya has already held discussions about potentially heading into the Australian jungle later this year. A TV insider claimed the dancer had previously been unable to consider the show because of her long-standing commitment to Strictly, but is now attracting interest from multiple broadcasters following her exit from the BBC series. The source alleged ITV executives are particularly keen to secure Nadiya for the upcoming series and are said to be impressed by her popularity with viewers.

Nadiya’s departure from Strictly was revealed earlier this year as part of a major overhaul behind the scenes following months of controversy surrounding the flagship dance show.
At the time, sources claimed the axing had left the dancer devastated.
After news broke, Nadiya addressed fans on Instagram and said she planned to focus on “new projects” while also spending more time with her daughter, Mila, whom she shares with former fiancé Matija Skarabot.
The dancer later confirmed she had been offered the opportunity to return to Strictly in a choreography role, although it remains unclear whether she will accept.

Nadiya first joined Strictly in 2017 and partnered celebrities including Davood Ghadami, Matt Goss, Dan Walker and Lee Ryan during her time on the show.
Despite becoming a fan favourite, she never managed to win the Glitterball Trophy. Her exit came alongside fellow professionals Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk and Michelle Tsiakkas.
Meanwhile, Strictly is preparing for a major relaunch later this year after long-serving hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman stepped down, and new hosts Emma Willis, Josh Widdicombe and Johannes Radebe are confirmed to take the reins.
ITV has said no official casting decisions have yet been confirmed for the new series of I’m A Celebrity.
