The Beckham family feud appeared a world away on Tuesday as Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz settled into a lavish escape in California, raising a glass of what is widely known as the world’s most expensive wine.
The 26-year-old influencer, who last week released a blistering six-page statement confirming he has cut ties with his parents David and Victoria Beckham, looked relaxed and content while holidaying with his actress wife at San Ysidro Ranch — a secluded luxury retreat famously favoured by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

While the rest of the Beckhams gathered in Paris for Haute Couture Fashion Week — where Victoria was awarded a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters — Brooklyn and Nicola chose quiet indulgence instead. Rooms at the ranch reportedly range from £2,245 to more than £9,000 a night, and the couple made it clear money was no obstacle.
On Instagram, Brooklyn shared a glimpse of two dusty bottles of Château d’Yquem — an ultra-rare 1831 vintage. The legendary wine made headlines in 2011 when a 200-year-old bottle sold for a staggering £75,000, cementing its reputation as the most expensive wine on earth.

The romantic dinner, enjoyed with their pet dog Lamb, came amid fresh claims about the vast financial gulf between Brooklyn’s world and Nicola’s. The actress, 31, is understood to receive a $1million-a-month allowance from her billionaire father Nelson Peltz, whose reported $1.6billion fortune eclipses the combined wealth of the Beckhams.
Speaking on the The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Marina Hyde suggested the contrast in money may be fuelling tensions, revealing she had heard Nelson openly admitted to giving his daughter a seven-figure monthly allowance. She added that the Beckhams, by contrast, were believed to support Brooklyn — but with the hope he would ultimately stand on his own two feet.

The symbolism of the location was not lost on observers. San Ysidro Ranch has hosted high-profile interviews and photoshoots linked to Harry and Meghan’s own family rift, prompting speculation that Brooklyn could be considering a similar tell-all project. Sources have already claimed a book deal, Spare-style, is “firmly in play”, with Brooklyn said to be keenly aware of how Prince Harry’s memoir sold more than 3.2 million copies worldwide.
For now, however, Brooklyn appeared focused on romance and escape. Posting a video montage set to Coldplay’s Yellow, he declared his love for Nicola, writing simply: “I love you Nicola Anne Peltz Beckham,” as the couple strolled Malibu Beach and toasted champagne — seemingly determined to leave family drama far behind.
