The tension is back in the Loose Women studio!
On Tuesday’s episode (May 19), Ruth Langsford returned to host alongside Coleen Nolan, Kelle Bryan, and Janet Street Porter. Topics ranged from Brexit to Kylie Minogue’s new Netflix documentary, but viewers couldn’t stop watching the electric reunion between Ruth and Jeff Brazier.
The pair previously clashed on the show in December, when Jeff, who presents the competitions, snapped at Ruth for talking over him. The exchange left fans divided: Jeff jokingly told Ruth, “If I say a nice compliment, don’t say anything back. Just say: ‘Cheers Jethro,’ and that’ll do me.” Ruth shot back with a cheeky, “Your wish is my command, Jeffrey. Thank you very much.”

Fast forward to Tuesday, Ruth and Jeff were back together following the first ad break to introduce a massive £115,000 competition prize — plus an extra £10,000 for a friend. Ruth teased giving the £10k to co-star Coleen Nolan, before moving to Jeff for the details.

The duo’s friendly banter quickly sparked attention:
“You’ve even started an argument in the studio about who will get the £10,000,” Jeff joked. Ruth laughed and said, “I’d take you, Jeff, obviously.” Jeff replied: “And Ruth, you would be my pick as well.”
Despite the smiles, viewers were unconvinced. Many took to social media, insisting the mutual compliments were all for show:
